Hello there! I'm Lorenzo, a 26-year-old programmer who has found true passion in the world of coding. Currently, I'm weaving my magic in a company where we assist clients in establishing a vibrant online presence. Specifically, I specialize in crafting e-commerce websites using Symfony and Sylius, two open-source tools that not only fuel my projects but also let me contribute to the thriving open-source community surrounding them.
Beyond the lines of code, I'm an avid football enthusiast, proudly supporting my hometown team, AC Reggiana, and the mighty AC Milan. With the roar of engines echoing in my hometown (the motor-valley), I cruise around in my 165hp Abarth 595, relishing the speed and style it brings to my life. Music is the soundtrack to my days, ranging from rock to R&B, and even the mesmerizing tunes of film scores, creating a symphony while I code away.
When I'm not immersed in the digital realm, you'll find me indulging in my love for gaming. I not only enjoy playing video games but also take pleasure in assembling computers and curating beautiful gaming setups. Join me in exploring the intersection of technology, sports, music, and gaming—it's a journey where the digital and the real seamlessly converge.

Web Developer • May 2018 - November 2020
My initiation into the professional world unfolded at Multitraccia, marking the beginning of a dynamic journey. Stepping beyond the realms of PHP, a language previously unexplored in my academic pursuits, I embraced the challenge of mastering its intricacies. Swiftly adapting, I immersed myself in the worlds of both Codeigniter and Laravel frameworks, expanding my toolkit for web development.
Multitraccia provided a multifaceted playground where I encountered the unique landscape of Apple's FileMaker databases. Navigating this terrain, I honed my skills in crafting robust and efficient solutions. The projects I undertook were intricate web applications designed to cater to a diverse user base, including producers, importers of various goods, and the software administrators steering the ship.
In this intricate web, producers and importers laid the foundation for materials that would eventually become waste. Meanwhile, other users declared these materials as waste, triggering the need for proper disposal. Acting as a pivotal intermediary, Multitraccia orchestrated the retrieval and disposal of these specialized wastes. Each player in this ecosystem, from producers to waste declarants, contributed to the synergy, funding the operation through commissions.
This professional chapter not only solidified my technical prowess but also unveiled the intricate dance between technology and environmental responsibility. Join me in exploring the crossroads where coding meets sustainability, and innovation paves the way for a greener future.
Higher secondary technical education diploma in IT and telecommunications • June 2017
My journey into the vast realm of technology began at a technical informatics institute, where I delved into the foundations of computing. From sequential programming to the intricacies of object-oriented design, I honed my skills in crafting elegant code. Exploring the world of relational databases, I learned to structure and manipulate data, laying the groundwork for my future endeavors.
As a culmination of my academic voyage, my final project showcased both technical prowess and a touch of humor. For my thesis, I developed a web application that allowed users to create memes on the fly. With a diverse selection of background images and customizable text options, users could unleash their creativity. The resulting memes found a virtual home in a social listing, where fellow users could upvote the wittiest creations.
This educational experience not only equipped me with the technical know-how but also ignited a passion for blending technology and creativity. Join me on this journey as we explore the ever-evolving landscape where bytes meet imagination.
My primary programming language is PHP. I started to work with this language in 2018. I already
worked with Symfony, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks.
Thanks to Webgriffe, I started to add to my knowledge also TDD and BDD with PHPUnit,
PHPSpec, and Behat.
Now, I'm interested also in DDD and hexagonal architecture.
Actually, my work consist of realizing e-commerce tailored solution to help companies selling online. We
use Sylius (an e-commerce framework based on top of Symfony) and Shopware.
In addition to PHP, I worked also with Java and C# (I realized different projects with
that language)
and obviously JS! With the last one I also enjoy doing something more and more tricky and/or
doing some
online courses.
